Acabo de leer un pequeño artículo en una página inglesa en la que mencionan una mejora para los modelos híbridos que permitirá optimizar el consumo de gasoil y una ligera disminución de las emisiones de CO2.

Os dejo el artículo:

Citroen has announced a series of revisions to hybrid models of its DS5 that will make them cheaper to run thanks to lower CO2 emissions and better fuel economy.

The changes centre on new software for the hybrid system, as well as improved energy recovery when decelerating and braking, and a new battery management system.

As a result, CO2 emissions on the cheapest Dsign models have dropped from 99g/km to 91g/km – making them the cleanest model in Citroen’s entire line-up – while their combined fuel economy has risen from to 74.3mpg to 80.7

At the same time, CO2 emissions on DSport and Dstyle models fall from 107g/km to 102g/km, while their combined economy improves from 68.9 to 72.4mpg. That means that these cars drop into a lower company car tax band, with a consequent saving in Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax for company users.

However, further savings are still possible on the more expensive models. When specified with 17-inch wheels – a no-cost option – these DSport and DStyle models return the same economy and emissions as the Dsign models (and qualify for the same BIK tax banding).

The revised cars are available to order now, with no change over the list price of the previous models.

Esperemos que nos llamen pronto para una revisión y que nos puedan cargar el nuevo software.
Sería una buena noticia saber que Citroën siga desarrollando sobre este modelo, aunque sí no he entendido mal en el artículo, me temo que es una cambio hardware en la unidad de control electrónica de la parte híbrida

La misma noticia en otro medio, indica que es una mejora que ya se aplicó sobre el 3008, y que es una mejora software, por lo que mantengo la esperanza de que nos lo puedan aplicar:

Citroen has decided that the DS5 is not clean enough, and they have updated it recently, in order to drop its emissions figure slightly - they have succeeded. It now gets new and improved battery management software, which makes the whole hybrid powertrain run more efficiently.

This is a similar improvement to that applied to the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4, shown at the Paris Motor Show, this year. With the update, the emissions of the DS5 DSign model drop from 99 g/km of CO2, to 91 g/km, while DStyle and DSport versions see a reduction from 107 g/km, to 102 g/km.

Buyers of the latter two versions can opt for smaller 17-inch wheels, instead of the standard 18-inch models, which cut emissions even further, from 102 g/km to 91 g/km. Pricing and other details regarding the DS5 remain unchanged, yet after testing it a while back, we would recommend the simpler, cheaper and lighter 2.0-liter HDI, with 163 hp, and not this overly-complicated hybrid, which currently doesn’t justify itself too much.

En el artículo pone que es software....a ver si es posible ponerlo en vuestros modelos....sería todo un lujo....

En la revista "TopAuto" de Octubre cuentan la misma noticia (en un apartado pequeño) refieriéndose al Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4. Os transcribo: "Peugeot ha optimizado el sistema Hybrid4 de tracción total híbrida y ofrece ahora una variante con menor consumo (3.5l) y emisiones (91 gr/km)."

Hablan de "variante" y no de "upgrade" así que no pinta bien para los actuales poseedores.

En el artículo se entiende que es software... ahora habrá que ver en el concesionario.
